Terms of Service

Desktora ("the site", "we") provides free online tools for working with PDF, image and document files. The service is provided "as is", and we may change, add or remove tools at any time without notice.

• Your files remain yours. We claim no rights in them or in the output the tools produce.
• You alone are responsible for having the right to process the files you use, including unlocking PDFs or removing watermarks: use those tools only on files you own or have explicit permission to modify.
• Always keep a copy of your original files. The tools run on your device and we keep no copies that could be recovered.

You may not use the site to:

• Do anything unlawful or that violates others’ rights (including copyright and privacy).
• Create forged or misleading documents (invoices, stamps, certificates, IDs) with intent to defraud.
• Create short links or QR codes that lead to malware, phishing or illegal content.
• Overload the service with automated requests, circumvent rate limits, or attempt to disrupt or break into it.
• Copy the site, resell its services, or strip its ads for commercial exploitation.

The site is supported by ads served through Google AdSense. Ads and links to external websites are not under our control, and we are not responsible for their content or for any dealings between you and those parties.

The site’s design, text, logo and code are owned by or licensed to us. The open-source libraries it uses are governed by their own licences. You may not reuse the site’s content without permission — except for the output you generate from your own files, which is entirely yours.

We do our best to make everything work accurately, but the service is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. Always check results — especially official documents and calculations such as GPA — before relying on them.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, including loss of data or profits. The service is free; if you are unhappy with it, your sole remedy is to stop using it.

We may block or restrict access from any source that violates these terms or threatens the stability of the service, without prior notice.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the one in force, and continuing to use the site after an update means you accept it.
